Guided ski touring in Abisko

This is the tour for those who want to try skitouring and experience what it’s like to ski real off-piste and for those who want to go with a guide to find the best slopes for the day.

In the northern Lapland mountains around Abisko there are several incredible off-piste runs, everything for the beginner to the extreme skier. There are nice rides from all the mountain peaks visible from the road, but there are no lifts. So the best way to enjoy the mountain sides is to put on alpine touring skis and slowly make your way up on your own machine while enjoying the views of untouched mountains together with a guide.

The location of this tour can wary depending on the participant’s ski-level, conditions and prevailing weather conditions to create the best possible experience for you as a guest. Our skitouring guides are avalanche trained via SWELAV and have great competence in terms of safe route choices in mountain terrain during winter conditions and have rescue training in the event of an avalanche.
